GEOZ TECHNOLOGIES ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Jenefer School mobile application (built on the GeoZ School Management software platform suite). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the Jenefer School mobile application (the "App") and its associated backend services hosted at jeneferschool.in.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information to provide a smooth and secure administrative experience for schools. The categories of information we collect include:

  • Account Credentials: Username, password hash, and security tokens to authenticate administrators, teachers, parents, and students.
  • Institutional registry records: Names, school IDs, class lists, and roles assigned to users within the tenant.
  • Academic & Attendance logs: Syllabus tracking items, lesson plans, student attendance records, fee status transactions, and school announcements.
  • Technical Device Information: Firebase Push Notification tokens (FCM Tokens) to deliver critical real-time alerts.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected data for the following purposes:

  • To verify authorization and secure access to administrative dashboards.
  • To log lesson completions and syllabus updates as requested by teachers.
  • To record attendance sheets and make registry updates instantly.
  • To compile fee status charts and track payment invoice receipts.
  • To send automated notifications and announcements via Firebase Cloud Messaging.

3. Data Deletion and Account Removal (CRITICAL)

We respect your ownership of your personal data. We provide clean, direct mechanisms to request the removal of your account and associated information.

Right to Request Data Deletion

Users (including students, parents, and teachers) have the right to request the complete deletion of their account profile and all associated data records from our databases.

Upon receiving a valid request, we will process it, verify identity with the school's central administrator, and fully wipe the associated database records within 30 business days. A confirmation email will be sent once the process is complete.

4. Data Security

All data transmitted between the App and our FastAPI backend is encrypted in transit using industry-standard Secure Sockets Layer/Transport Layer Security (SSL/HTTPS) connections. Administrative data is securely partitioned using custom database schemas in a PostgreSQL database deployed on secure virtual machines. Additionally, sensitive credentials (like passwords) are hashed using secure cryptographic functions before being persisted.
